Ge\u00e7mi\u015ften g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcze yaprak sarma, hem saray sofralar\u0131nda hem de halk aras\u0131nda s\u0131k\u00e7a t\u00fcketilen bir yemek olarak \u00f6nemli bir yer tutmu\u015ftur. \u0130ncecik asma yapraklar\u0131na dikkatlice sar\u0131larak haz\u0131rlanan dolma, farkl\u0131 i\u00e7 malzemeleriyle zenginle\u015ftirilmi\u015ftir. Yaprak sarma, geleneksel Bat\u0131 Trakya T\u00fcrklerinin mutfa\u011f\u0131n\u0131n \u00f6zel g\u00fcnlerdeki \u00f6nemli yemeklerinden biridir ve bu \u00f6zel g\u00fcnlerde ta\u015f\u0131d\u0131\u011f\u0131 anlamla ayr\u0131 bir de\u011fer kazan\u0131r. \u00d6zellikle bayramlar, d\u00fc\u011f\u00fcnler, ni\u015fanlar, do\u011fum g\u00fcnleri gibi sevin\u00e7li ve bir araya gelmeyi simgeleyen etkinliklerde yaprak sarmalar sofralarda \u00f6zel bir yere sahiptir. Bu zeytinya\u011fl\u0131 sarmalar\u0131n tad\u0131 dama\u011f\u0131m\u0131zda yer etti\u011fi kadar nice bestelerde dilimize pelesenk olarak m\u00fczik alan\u0131na da zenginlik katm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Ard\u0131ndan s\u0131ras\u0131yla tarifteki baharatlar\u0131 ekleyip kar\u0131\u015ft\u0131r\u0131n.
