The Vocational Promotion and Guidance Branch, operating under the Western
Thrace Minority University Graduates Association, organized a “Psychology Department
Promotion Event” for students on Friday, October 17.
Psychologist and Family Counselor Simpel Top and Psychologist Koray Bagdatli were
guests at the event. The guests first presented the Psychology Department’s course content,
providing students with a general overview of the department. They then shared their
professional experiences and academic work. The event also addressed the question, “What
is a Psychology department and what is not?”, providing information on the approaches
used, tests, interview techniques, and universal ethical principles for psychologists. The
speakers also addressed the opportunities for Psychology graduates to specialize in various
fields and develop their careers.
The talk, held in a friendly atmosphere, inspired students with their heartfelt
sharing. At the end of the event, students had the opportunity to chat with the speakers and
get their questions answered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
