{"id":11307,"date":"2025-12-25T11:09:03","date_gmt":"2025-12-25T11:09:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.btaytd.org\/web\/?p=11307"},"modified":"2025-12-25T11:09:15","modified_gmt":"2025-12-25T11:09:15","slug":"western-thrace-minority-university-graduates-association-presented-the-department-of-economics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.btaytd.org\/web\/en\/western-thrace-minority-university-graduates-association-presented-the-department-of-economics\/","title":{"rendered":"WESTERN THRACE MINORITY UNIVERSITY GRADUATES ASSOCIATION PRESENTED THE &#8220;DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMICS&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Vocational Promotion and Guidance Branch, operating under the Western Thrace<br>Minority University Graduates Association, organized an &#8220;Economics Department Promotion<br>Event&#8221; for students on Friday, November 21st.<br>Mr. Ilchan Impram and Mr. Onour Moustafa Achmet, who attended as speakers at the event<br>and experts in the field, provided information about economics education and gave an<br>engaging presentation about the department&#8217;s extensive career opportunities and their own<br>experiences.<br>Highlights of the event included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Employment opportunities for economics graduates in various fields, including banking,<br>commerce, and the public and private sectors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The importance of presentation, public speaking, and communication skills, in addition to<br>courses such as micro and macroeconomics, mathematics, marketing, and finance taken<br>within the department.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The critical role of building good relationships with people in a career.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A master&#8217;s degree is not mandatory but can be chosen depending on your goals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The importance of keeping up with economics and the business world.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The importance of being active in various clubs and social activities throughout your<br>education.<br>It was also stated that knowing the course system and exam procedures will greatly facilitate<br>the transition to university life.
