A Talk on “Computer and Educational Technologies Teaching” from the Western Thrace Minority University Graduates Association

The Vocational Promotion and Guidance Branch, operating under the Western Thrace
Minority University Graduates Association, organized a talk on “Computer and Educational
Technology Teaching” on Friday, October 10th to guide students in their career choices.
The event was addressed by Elif Molla Ismail Memet, a graduate of the Trakya University
Computer and Educational Technology Teaching Department. Our guest began her speech by
introducing the general structure of the department and the training program.
She discussed the content of the department’s courses, the importance of educational
technologies in education, and the current value of this field.
The speaker candidly shared her experiences during her university years and the post-
graduation process, providing students with information on frequently asked questions about
the department. She answered questions such as, “What fields does this department cover?”,
“Why should I choose this department?”, and “What professions can graduates work in?”,
providing students with important information to guide them in choosing a career. The talk
concluded in a friendly atmosphere where students had the opportunity to ask their questions.
