WTMUGA Women’s Branch met with loving women, the heroes of their own lives, for
dinner at Iasmos Arnemousi restaurant on Saturday, May 10, 2025, on the eve of Mother’s
Day. The host of the night was Women’s Branch Secretary General Doga Kasap, and the
opening speech was made by President Sevtap CHINT. In her speech, CHINT thanked all the
women who attended the dinner and shared the boundless love in her heart. She introduced
the logo of the Women’s Branch and shared about the next event they planned to hold.
Afterwards, İlayda ÜNAL, the precious wife of the Consul General of the Republic of
Turkey, Mr. Aykut ÜNAL, addressed all the women who touched lives with their loving
hearts in her welcoming speech, described each of them as a hero, wished all women a happy
Mother’s Day and expressed her happiness to be among us on this meaningful night. In the
continuation of the program, Chedef MOUSTAFAOGLOU, a member of the Women’s
Branch, made a meaningful speech regarding the importance of the day and emphasized that
motherhood is not limited to giving birth, and that every woman who raises with love and
works hard is a mother. These words, which touched the hearts of all mothers and women
who carry the feeling of motherhood, added an emotional meaning to the night.
Afterwards, Psychologist Sevkan TACHSINOGLOU, who has countless poems with her
powerful pen, received great applause by reading the poem “Mother” that she wrote specially
for the night. Finally, one of our retired teachers, Samprie MECHMETOGLOU, added a
different color to the poem she wrote for her mother by sharing it with those present at the
dinner. In addition to all the women who attended the dinner and shared the boundless love in

İlayda ÜNAL, the wife of the BTTADK (Consultative Committee of Turkish Minority of
