The Vocational Promotion and Guidance Branch, operating under the Western Thrace Minority University Graduates Association, made a presentation titled ‘‘Applied Interview Techniques-I’’ for high school students on Friday, April 4, 2025.

The presentation began with the importance of body language and the ability to express oneself. Then, the focus was on ways to create a positive impact on the other party. In the presentation, the points to be considered for the effective transmission of nonverbal messages such as eye contact, smile, gestures and facial expressions were conveyed in a practical manner.

Another topic emphasized in the presentation was the general purpose and content of the interview. The person’s interest and involvement in the program, how much information is known about the program, and the importance of conveying this information were discussed. In this context, the issues to be considered before the interview, and the things to do and avoid during the interview were emphasized.
