The award ceremony of WTMUGA ‘Pusula’ Magazine’s 4th year event was held on
Friday, May 23 at 19:00 at WTMUGA Komotini Central Club. A total of 129 children
participated in the composition and painting competition themed “Forest Week”. WTMUGA
President Chousein Mpaltatzi gave the opening speech of the event. The floor was then taken
by the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Komotini, Aykut Ünal.
The award ceremony to which the children who won the competition were invited was
held with great participation. Emir Mechmet, who came first in the composition category of
the competition, was presented with a bicycle, Chilmi Gialouts, who came second, was
presented with a scooter, and Talcha Antoullach Chalil, who came third, was presented with
skates. Zeinep Ousta won the bicycle, which was the first prize in the painting category, while
Gkioul Metso won the scooter, which was the second prize, and Asmin Kampa won the
skates, which were the third prize.
