The WTMUGA Miracle (Mucize) Theatre presented a play for 12-13 year olds at the Xanthi
Amphitheatre on Saturday, April 4th. The play, woven with sincere dialogues, depicted the
daily life, human relationships, and culture of Western Thrace, captivating the audience with
its energy and naturalness.
The play, “We Told Ourselves to Ourselves,” written by Aytsa PETSENIK from the writing
team of the Western Thrace Minority University Graduates Association Miracle Theatre, was
adapted and directed by Senemachou TOPOUZ, offering the audience a play that made them
reflect on themselves and their experiences. The integration of the late Xanthi artist Roustou
ERITS’s work into the play created emotional moments for the audience. The play, with its
childlike language and humor, told us about ourselves.
The performance was attended by the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Aykut
Ünal and Mrs. Ilayda Ünal, members of the Advisory Board, and the heads of various
institutions and organizations.
Speaking after the performance, WTMUGA President Zeinep Tevfikoglou expressed her
