The Western Thrace Minority University Graduates Association Miracle (Mucize) Theatre
Primary School Team invited audiences on a beautiful journey between fairy tale and reality,
imagination and hope, with the plays they staged. The play, “Big Stories for Little Hearts,”
was performed on Sunday, April 5th, at the Xanthi Indoor Amphitheatre, featuring young
actors performing various skits.
The performance included skits themed around the Forest of Fairies, Shopping Adventure,
Red Bird, Elements, and Smurfs. The plays were written by Zeinep Mpetoul ERGKEN,
Mperrak DELIOGLOU, Aitsa PETSENIK, and Rasie SAMPANOGLOU, members of the
WTMUGA Miracle Theatre Writing Team, and directed by Senemachou TOPOUZ. Each
short play, fueled by children’s imaginations, brought smiles to the audience’s faces. The
colorful costumes, energetic scenes, and heartfelt performances received great applause from
the packed audience.
Before the performance, Ms. Zeinep TEVFIKOGLOU, President of WTMUGA, and Ms.
Senemachou TOPOUZ, Director of the Miracle Theatre, gave speeches thanking the actors on
stage, their families for their support, and the technical team for their assistance.
The team working behind the scenes, as well as the young actors on stage, worked with great
dedication. It once again demonstrated that theatre is not just a play, but a journey that teaches
dreaming, sharing, and self-confidence. The performance was attended by the Consul General
of the Republic of Turkey in Komotini, Mr. Aykut ÜNAL, and his wife, Mrs. Ilayda ÜNAL,
the Chairman of the Advisory Board and Mufti of Xanthi, Mr. Moustafa TRAMPA, members
of the Advisory Board, and the heads of various institutions and organizations.
Also present was the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Thessaloniki, Mr. Serkan
